It comprises 54 members and prominent among them are forest minister C H Vijayashankar, Kannada and culture minister Govinda Karjola, opposition leader in the legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah, mayor Pushpalatha Chikkanna, ZP president Suneetha Veerappagowda, scion of the royal family Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyar, MPs H Vishwanath, R Dhruvanarayan and N Cheluvarayaswamy, chairpersons of boards and corporations, legislators and others.
An executive committee has also been constituted under the chairmanship of minister Ramdas. Kannada and culture department secretary will be vice-chairman, while deputy commissioner will be working president and special officer. Members are: C H Vijayashankar, directors of Kannada and culture and tourism departments, commissioner of youth services and sports, police commissioner, superintendent of police, superintending engineer of Cesc, conservator of forest, ZP CEO, commissioners of MCC and MUDA.
