Three wheelers distributed to the physically challenged were rejected by the beneficiaries owing to its poor quality. The officers from Social Welfare Department too have rejected the vehicles.
Though Congress had complained the matter to the Deputy Commissioner, no action has been taken so far against the culprits. Congress Block Committee President Sridhar Ullal alleged that there was no administration in the CMC for the last one month.
He said that a protest will be staged against the CMC’s decision on giving tender for solid waste management, in spite of Commissioner’s opposition.
