A portion of the movie, in which Amitabh teaches maths to the underprivileged children, was shot after Anand flew to Mumbai to narrate director Prakash Jha his way of teaching and experience. “It’s true that Prof Prabhakar Anand’s character in the film is co-related to Super-30’s Anand,” said Big B, before showering encomiums on the maths wizard for doing an excellent work for the uplift of the downtrodden in Bihar. Amitabh Bachchan was in Patna on Wednesday to promote his film “Aarakshan,” which also has Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpai as lead actors.

Refusing to be drawn into any controversy whether he supported reservation or not, Big B said: “My personal view does not matter much when there is a Constitution-mandated provision today. But yes, this is the first issue-based movie I have done in my 40-year-long career.”

He said corruption is a grave issue which affects one and all. Bachchan expressed his desire to work in  movies against corruption, “provided there is a good script and a perfect role for me to play.”

Asked whether he would like to play the role of Anna Hazare or Manmohan Singh, Big B smiled and said: “I am not competent enough to play their roles. Badi mushkil se to actor bana hoon. Mujhe yaheen rahne dijiye (I have become an actor with great difficulty. Please allow me to continue as I am.)”

Later in the evening, Amitabh met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Prakash Jha and Manoj Bajpai also accompanied him.
