Television serials corrupt viewers mind, says C K N Raja
Students advised to concentrate on studies
Legal expert Prof C K N Raja on Wednesday advised the students to study thought oriented subjects stressing more on research.
He was speaking after inaugurating talent award and other programme at Nataraja college in the city.
He said the students should be regular to class and maintain at least 99 per cent attendance, if not cent per cent. Most importantly, the students should be attentive and should not give room for any other activities other than studies.
He also cautioned the students against watching TV serials saying ‘it corrupts mind’. Instead, one should not spend time on trivial issues and concentrate on striving hard to fulfil the aim in life.
Puttamma, Mamatha, Sowmya, Divya, Devaki and Cheluvamba who had topped in degree exams were felicitated. Nataraja prathistan chairman seer Sri Chidananda, administrative officer C Dharmappa, special officer Prof Chandrashekaraiah, Nataraja Women’s College principal Vasanthi Reena Williams were present.
