'Colours of Sri Krishna' in Udupi on Janmastami

Sri Krishna Paryaya Shiroor Mutt in association with Udupi Press Photographers Association will be organising a photography competition titled ''Colours of Srikrishna'' and ''Udupi Vitlapindi'' on the occasion of Srikrishna Janmastami.

Speaking to media persons in Udupi on Thursday, Sri Krishna Paryaya Shiroor Mutt seer Sri Laxmivaratheertha Sripada informed that photographs sent to the competition should be based on the theme ‘Lord Krishna’ and ‘Janmastami celebrations’ taken anywhere across the State.

Prizes

The first prize under the “Colours of Srikrishna” category comprises of Rs 8000, plaque and a citation. The cash amount for the best photograph under “Udupi Vitlapindi” category is Rs 4000, he added.

The photos can be sent on or before September 7. Besides, photography and expo from the members of Udupi Press Photographers Association is organised on the occasion of Srikrishna Janmastami at Sri Krishna mutt. As many as 45 photos will be displayed at the venue on the occasion.
