<p>This was revealed by Health and Family Welfare minister Prasanna Acharya while replying a question in the assembly.<br /><br />However, the government did not feel it necessary to take action against any doctor for fault in conducting tubectomy surgery, the minister said.</p>.<p>As many as 60,0369 women underwent family planning operation between 2006-07 to 2010-11 in the state, he said adding that out of 531 women who conceived again, 236 were given compensation by different insurance companies.</p>.<p>The compensation were given by insurance companies under Central government's Family Welfare Insurance Scheme as per a direction of the Supreme Court, Acharya said.</p>.<p>The minister, however, assured the House that the government would not hesitate to take action against the doctors if they were found guilty in performing surgery under family planning activities. </p>
