This final preliminary round was held at the Premachandra Sagar auditorium, Dayananda Sagar Institution. As many as 19 colleges from across South Bangalore competed for the coveted top three positions.

The colleges set the stage on fire with their creative designs, upbeat music and creative choreography.

The dominant theme of the evening was ethnic wear where participants showcased traditional attire selected from different parts of the country. Colleges that chose the Western theme, were not far behind, as they walked the ramp displaying party wear, beachwear and casuals. A few colleges experimented by showcasing out-of-the-box themes.

Model co-ordinator and choreographer Prasad Bidappa, actress Sanjjanaa, model Shrutha Keerthi, and model-cum-actor Raghu Mukherjee added glamour to the event as they judged the show.

They were impressed by the creativity and collections of the teams and the talent displayed.

R V College of Engineering grabbed the winning spot with their ‘Candy Circus’ theme. Their bright, colourful outfits with fancy makeup, circus props and toys made them stand out.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering came third with their ethnic theme.

Culture and diversity underlined their theme as they walked the ramp in stunning outfits.
