<p>The Public Prosecution in Dubai granted bail to the five Indians yesterday.<br /><br />The Indian nationals were held by Dubai Police for organising a walk to support the anti-corruption movement without obtaining permission from the local authorities.<br />Their first request for bail was rejected on August 25 as the Public Prosecution cited that the investigations into the case had not been complete.<br /><br />Hashik T K, the lawyer who represented three of the accused, said, "All of them have secured bail. We are finishing the paper works for their release."<br /><br />The accused had to spend nine more days behind bars since all government offices including the courts were closed due to Eid holidays that ended yesterday.<br /><br />The Indians were detained after one of them organised a 3km walk in Al Mamzar Beach Park on August 21 to express solidarity with social activist Hazare who was on an indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi demanding a strong Jan Lokpal bill.<br /><br />The man had mobilised public support for the walk through Facebook.</p>
