<p>Captain Salaluddin on the commercial flight (Airbus 8321) announced: “Sorry for the harsh landing ladies and gentlemen, I was training my under officer (Gaurav), he will get the hang of it soon.”<br /><br />A senior IPS officer who was in the aircraft told Deccan Herald: “One could realise that the pilot was flying low and even the approach for landing was wrong. Finally, the pilot lost control of the aircraft and did a very harsh landing.”<br /><br />He added that the flight was fairly full and it even had some State politicians on board. <br />The flight departed from Delhi at 6.20 pm and landed in Bangalore at about 8.25 pm.<br />Kingfisher Airlines spokesperson Prakash Merpuri, speaking from Mumbai, said: “The matter has not come to my notice yet.
