Toy train stops

The running of the popular Darjeeling toy train, which figures on the Unesco list of World Heritage Sites and several Bollywood movies, has been suspended after Sunday’s earthquake in the neighbouring Sikkim.
The services on the 86-km picturesque route from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling was suspended, a spokesman of the North East Frontier Railway said here on Tuesday, adding efforts were made to restore service from Wednesday.
