Demand for adventure park in Mysore
National Adventure Foundation has slammed the government for denying opportunity to local adventure organisations during Dasara festivities. She demanded that an adventure park be created in the city.
Addressing a media conference here on Monday, Rukmini Chandran said that General Thimmaiah National Academy of Adventure is conducting commercial activities only during Dasara instead of conducting training for youth.
She alleged that they are outsourcing instructors from private agencies despite having their own staff. Also it is not conducting instructor courses in the state to introduce and provide training to more instructors.
Chandran said that denying permission to conduct aero adventure sports at Mandakalli airport was ruining opportunities for youngsters.
