Boy tortured by cops loses eyesight

A 14-yea-old boy lost his eyesight after allegedly tortured by the police for stealing cell phones in Ayodhya. The boy was rushed to a hospital but doctors declared his eyesight could not be restored.
According to the parents of the boy, identified as Rohit Kumar, police picked him up from his home on July 29 after a trader complained that he had stolen mobile phones from his shop and tortured him for almost a week. An inquiry has been ordered.
