36 killed in Nepal bus accident
At least 36 people were killed when the bus they were travelling in fell off a cliff in central Nepal Thursday morning.
The accident took place along the Khurkot-Nepalthok road section of the Banepa-Sindhuli Highway in central Nepal, reported Xinhua.
The bodies of the victims have been recovered and laid on the bank of the Sunkoshi river, the media report said.
Some 11 passengers who were travelling on the roof of the bus survived the accident by jumping off the roof, a TV channel reported quoting an eyewitness.
