The SI contacted Kumar and directed him to come to the station immediately.<br /><br />The advocate instead went to the court premises and staged a protest along with his fellow advocates.<br /><br />After tense moments in the court premises, the advocates lodged a complaint with the Halasuru Gate police station.<br /><br />Second incident<br /><br />Meanwhile, the City police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told reporters that it was the second time that Santosh Kumar is involved in a similar incident. <br /><br />A case was registered against him with the Banashankari police station for threatening a person a few days ago. In that case, he had threatened a person over a cellphone. <br />Later, he had surrendered before the court and deposited Rs 10,000 as security deposit to get bail.<br /><br />The department will initiate disciplinary action if the JP Nagar police are found to have been erring, the commissioner said.</p>
