Survey department staffer in Lokayukta net

M J Prasad, Assistant Director of Survey Department was caught when he was receiving bribe of Rs 50,000 for giving sketch of the land surveyed.
He was trapped by the Lokayukta near ETCM hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Background
Sunil Kumar, a businessman from Bangalore wanted to buy 10 acres of land near Narasapur. When he asked Prasad, Assistant Director of Survey Department to survey the land and give the sketch, he demanded Rs 1.40 lakh per acre.
Sunil Kumar immediately lodged a complaint against Prasad. Acting on the complaint, Lokayukta caught Prasad while receiving Rs 50,000 as advance from Sunil Kumar.
