One nabbed for selling pirated books

Bangalore, Nov 11 (PTI)

The City Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths nabbed a person and recovered pirated books by well known internatonal and Indian authors worth Rs 25 lakh from him.

Omar Farooq (31) was arrested yesterday by the CCB team during a raid on a gowdown in a house in Shivaji Nagar and 65,000 famous pirated books including You Can Win, Twilight, Kite Runner, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, were seized from him, a CCB statement said.
