A press release said that SANASA Development Bank had in the past sent teams of its officers to BIRD, Mangalore, for exposure to innovative activities in Agriculture and Rural Development in this part of the country and as many as six such programmes were held by BIRD, Mangalore, under the sponsorship from NABARD.
The programme will benefit senior executives/officers of the select 10 Regional Rural Banks and District Central Cooperative Banks representing nine different priority States as identified by NABARD for their rapid development. The team will be headed by K Balasubramanian, Programme Director and Deputy General Manager, BIRD, Mangalore.
