Madan dazzles in National win
Madan Mohan’s unbeaten century propelled National High School, Basavangudi, to a four-wicket win over Cathedral High School in a high-scoring Dell-KSCA Cup Division III (under-16) knockout inter-school tournament match.
Centuries from Saifulla (140 n.o.) and Shivil Kaushik (101 n.o.) helped Cathedral High School post a commanding 282 for two in the allotted 50 overs. In reply, Mohan’s unbeaten 136 and K Shankat’s (51) half-century carried National through with four wickets and four overs to spare.
