<p>"The US Government is concerned about reports that Aung San Suu Kyi needs medical care and that the Burmese authorities have detained her primary personal physician, Dr Tin Myo Win," State Department spokesman, Ian Kelly told reporters.</p>.<p>"We urge the Burmese regime to allow Aung San Suu Kyi to receive immediate medical care from a doctor," he said.</p>.<p>The 1991 Noble Prize Winner, Aung San Suu Kyi has been under house arrest for as much as 13 of the past 19 years. Sung San Suu Kyi is reported to be ill currently with little access to medical care as her doctors has been arrested by the junta.</p>.<p>The United States has also call on the regime to permit Aung San Suu Kyi to meet with her personal attorney immediately.</p>.<p>He also termed the Myanmar leader's detention as unjust.</p>.<p>With Aung San Suu Kyi's anniversary of her detention approaches, the spokesman said: "We join with the calls of the international community and urge her immediate release, along with the release of all the more than 2,100 political prisoners the Burmese regime currently holds."</p>
