JCB India to launch new products at EXCON 2011
Earth-movers and construction major JCB India will launch a range of new machines, including wheeled loaders and backhoes (digger), excavators and lift-alls at EXCON 2011.
JCB India MD and CEO Vipin Sondhi said, “JCB will display a new range of machines powered by the JCB ecomax diesel engine. The 16 valve, fuel efficient ecomax engine is manufactured at JCB’s Ballabgarh plant (Haryana) that was set up with an investment of Rs 135 crore.
An innovation centre at the stand which will have great innovation in current and futuristic technology in a 3D film and its range of new machines and technology suited for Indian conditions.”
The company saw 45 per cent growth revenue in FY 2010-11 with a turnover of 2011 crossing $1 billion. JCB, which claims more than a 50 per cent share of the construction equipment market in India, sold 21,000 machines in the country in the 2010 calendar year.
