Indian hockey team to get Rs 25 lakh on winning title in SA

The Indian hockey team will get Rs 25 lakh from Bharat Hotels Limited if it wins the Champions Challenge I tournament title, it was announced today.
Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director Bharat Hotels Limited (Hotel Lalit) announced the prize money through Hockey India.
India did not lose a single match en route the final, which they are slated to play against Belgium later today in Johannesburg.
Due to a miscommunication, Hockey India earlier announced that the team will get the money for reaching the final.
