Meet SHRC’s infra needs: HC to govt

The High Court on Monday directed the State government to meet all the infrastructure requirements of the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) within six months.
Disposing of a PIL by the South India Cell for Human Rights Education and Monitoring (SICHREM) seeking adequate facilities for the effective functioning of the SHRC, the Division Bench comprising acting Chief Justice Vikramajit Sen and Justice A S Bopanna directed the government to consider the demands of the six police ranges of the SHRC too.
