It also demanded initiating criminal proceedings against the officers responsible for the wrongful confinement of the “innocent” people for three and a half years.
The accused were put behind bars blasts on the charge of being SIMI activists and giving shelter to some terrorists, including Sajid Mansoori.
Forum coordinator Kari Moinuddin alleged that if the police action was following the diktat of the political establishment of that time then chief minister Vasundhara Raje and home minister Gubab Chand Katria owed an explanation.
He demanded that a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each be provided to the youths.
