A close shave
Popular television actor Varun Badola was shooting for Creative Eye’s serial Bhola Bhagat at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai recently when he escaped an accident.
He was supposed to sit on a pyre which was going to be set on fire. The director had wanted a duplicate to do the scene but Varun was confident and went ahead with it himself.
However, his leg got caught in the wood and he could not jump out of the pyre at the right time. Somehow, he managed to jump out and escaped with minor injuries.
Says Varun, “I saw death so closely but was saved by God’s grace.” Producer Dheeraj Kumar also confirmed the incident and was extremely happy that Varun is safe now.
