Chocolate Affair
With Santa ringing its bell and Christmas spirit soaring in the midst of Delhi’s winter, who can give a miss to the Christmas tree and especially if it is made of chocolate?
Delhiites have an exciting Christmas ahead at Select Citywalk in Saket, with a 20 feet high Christmas tree in a new chocolaty avatar. The 100 kilograms of chocolate which goes into this tree, makes it a real treat for eyes, barring all likes and dislikes for chocolate.
This tree will be made out of rich, brown, luscious chocolate oozing out to make every eye fall for this chocolate extravaganza! Neeraj Ghei, director Select Citywalk says, “A substantial part of our budget is spent on decorations. This year we have a glowing Christmas tree also, other than a special Christmas tree made of chocolate.”
Chocoholic Sabhyata Prakash, 23, is unable to contain her excitement and is eager to visit the extravaganza. She says, “The sound of chocolate Christmas tree is a treat to the ears. I wonder how appealing it would be for the eyes too.”
Sachin Puri, a software engineer who’s a regular visitor at Select Citywalk is also excited at the prospect of seeing this unusual Christmas tree. He says, “I think that it will be one of the best look out ever for Christmas in Delhi.”
Carol singers, Santarinas, photo contests, post-it greetings and Christmas themed chocolate treats will also add magic to the gala event. The chocolate tree however, cannot be eaten!
The management has also decided to donate a portion of the sales proceedings to organise a Christmas party for the underprivileged children. The chocolaty affair with Christmas, will be on display from December 23 to 25.
