Brothers drown

Two brothers, who had gone to swim at the nearby Yallammawadi tank, drowned on Tuesday.
Vinay Bhagawan Mane (24) and Sagar Ramesh Mane (22) are the dead. They hailed from Tasgaon in Maharashtra.
The brothers had come to the town along with their family members to take part in the Kokatanura Yallamma Devi festival.
According to eye witnesses, Sagar first fell into the deep waters while taking bath. Vinay, who jumped into the tank to rescue Sagar, too met a watery grave.
Efforts of some youths to save the brothers failed.
