Applications invited for teacher’s award
A Shama Rao Foundation has invited applications for ‘A Shama Rao Memorial Outstanding Teacher Award’.
Awards will be conferred on teachers from undivided Dakshina Kannada district who have done outstanding service in promoting and popularising education in High Schools and Pre University College level.
The awards carry cash prize of Rs 10,000 each, a memento and a citation. Award will be presented during Founder’s day celebration on February 14. Applications forms have already been forwarded to the heads of all high schools and PU colleges of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
Applications forms can also be downloaded online from www.srinivasgroup.com. The duly filled applications forms along with the certificates/testimonials/documents should be sent to Secretary, A Shama Rao Foundation, Hotel Srinivas Building, GHS Road, Mangalore-575 001 before January 20.
