MP Vishwanath predicts fall of govt
As the statements of Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa fuels a fresh trouble to the BJP government in state, Congress leader and MP Adagur H Vishwanath has said the rift between the BJP leaders would lead to the collapse of the government.
Talking to reporters here on Sunday, he ridiculed the statements of the BJP leaders and said chief minister Sadananda Gowda claims that he was a full-time chief minister. But, Yeddyurappa’s remarks point that Gowda is only a part-time chief minister. Amidst all these confusion, BJP state president K S Eshwarappa talks in a different tune.
The present chaos raises doubts about BJP completing the full term in office. “The BJP has failed to deliver to the expectations of the people. The politics has lost the moral values and is only driven by caste and money power. All political parties are swayed by such developments,” the MP said.
He dismissed reports of Congress MLAs joining the Nationalist Congress party as rumours and said it is all creation of media.
Vishwanath slammed JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy and accused him of being hand-in-glove with chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda. “The decision to abstain from the voting in elections was an outcome of Kumaraswamy’s secret understanding with the BJP government. The JD (S) legislative party leader H D Revanna did want to support the Congress party. But, Kumaraswamy opposed it,” he said.
