Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party Rastriya Janata Dal (RJD) will contest 130 of the 403 Assembly seats in the upcoming seven-phase Uttar Pradesh elections to be held in February next year.
"The party has decided to field candidates on 130 constituencies identified by it," RJD state chief Ashok Singh said.
He said the party would soon release the list of its candidates.
