National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) - Entrance Examination
NIFT invites applications for admission to its four-year undergraduate and two-year post graduate professional programmes for the academic year 2012.
Application forms are available till January 6, 2012. Last date of submission of application forms is January 10, 2012. A written test will be conducted on February 12, 2012. Group discussion and interviews will be held in April-May, 2012. The programmes on offer include:

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination
Applications are invited for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/Dental and Pharmacy and Architecture courses under the Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur and Jadavpur University for the academic session 2012-2013. Students will be accepted on the basis of their scores for the joint entrance examination. Detailed information will be available in the information brochure which will be available with the application form and at the websites —www.wbjeeb.in, www.csc-et.in and www.banglarmukh.com. Examination centres will be located in West Bengal and Tripura. The relevant courses include Engineering and Technology, B.Arch., Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental and Pharmacy.
Duly filled-in application forms must be sent in the printed envelope received by the candidate with the application kit by Speed Post. The last date for receipt of application kit by post is January 16, 2012. The West Bengal Joint Entrance examination will be held on April 14, 2012.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management
T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, TAPMI, is offering a full-time, two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The programme is fully residential. The last date for online application is January 15, 2012. Candidates must have a three-year (10+2+3) undergraduate degree in any discipline, with not less than 50 per cent overall marks. This also applies to those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary. Candidates appearing for their final year examination may also apply. However, such candidates, if selected by TAPMI, are required to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM programmes and submit their mark-lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date. Application forms can be completed and submitted online.

Comed-K entrance exam
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, COMEDK, invites application for COMEDK PGET 2012 from eligible candidates seeking admission to PG courses in Medical and Dental streams for the next academic year. The last date of receipt of completed application forms is January 13, 2012. The entrance exam will be held on February 12, 2012.
Courses offered are Post Graduate Medical Degree, Post Graduate Medical Diploma, Post Graduate Dental Degree, Post Graduate Dental Diploma.
Applicants must meet all requirements stipulated by the Medical Council of India. Candidates are required to apply online. Ensure that the online application form is filled completely.
