Air passenger dead
Indore, Jan 5, PTI:
A 71-year-old passenger from Lucknow on board a Jet Airways’ Ahmedabad-Kolkata flight on Thursday died here after he suffered chest pain and felt restlessness, airline sources said.
Satyendra Kumar Srivastava from Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar area, probably developed some heart related problem in the plane toilet just before landing at the Indore airport around 0800 hours, they said.
Jet Airport Manager Tapan Kulkarni told PTI that the deceased’s wife Shanti Srivastava informed the crew about her husband’s condition following which he was immediately given medical aid.
Srivastava was being shifted to the district hospital, but was declared brought dead.
