SP wants more ‘liquor’
While most people across the country are worried over price rise of essential commodities, the Samajwadi Party (SP) is losing sleep over rising prices of liquor.
According to sources, SP's poll campaigners have a liking for this shaam ki dawa or “evening medicine”.
The SP's firm belief that the BSP would lose in the polls is based on the prediction of the former's campaigners, who are hooked to the daily dose of this 'evening medicine'."The prices of almost everything have risen in Mayawati's regime, including the price of shaam ki dawa, said SP state unit chief Akhilesh Yadav at Bheemnagar on Thursday. Party supporters, sporting red caps, met his observation with a positive response.
"It is a matter of concern for us, as we — who are running our poll campaign — depend on this medicine, If our supporters say that BSP is going out of power, then I am sure they are right," said Yadav,
