‘Super 30’ workshop on mathematics
Mathematics could be tricky while trying to crack all-India entrance exams such as the IIT-JEE.
Recognising this critical need of thousands of students, Deccan Herald and Prajavani, along with Bishop Cotton Boys High School and ACE Creative Learning, have organised a two-day workshop on Mathematics on January 7 and 8.
Students of 9th, 10th, PU, CBSE and ISE eager to get admission to elite national institutions through the all-India tests, will be addressed by world-famous educational coach, Anand Kumar of Super 30 fame.
Anand Kumar has been recognised worldwide for his path-breaking work in coaching students to enter IITs. His work has been widely covered by the Discovery Channel, BBC, The New York Times, Time Magazine, Newsweek Magazine, Focus Magazine, Limca Book of Records and more. His Super 30 institute has received praise from the US President Barack Obama’s special envoy Rashad Hussain, who termed it the “best” institute in the country.
In four sessions spread over two days, Anand Kumar will take the students through proven techniques to solve tricky questions in IIT-JEE entrance examination and other tests.
Also guiding the students in their attempt to crack the entrance exams will be Dr Sridhar, Ace Creative Learning. Sridhar is a BTech from IIT, Kharagpur and a PhD from The Johns Hopkins University, US. Former Karnataka Lokayukta, Justice N Santosh Hegde will formally Inaugurate the workshop.
