Akshay returns to 'Rowdy Rathore' after shoulder injury

New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI)

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who recently hurt his shoulder while shooting for Prabhu Deva's action flick 'Rowdy Rathore', is back on the sets of the film post a therapy session in Germany.

Akshay, 44, who is making a comeback in the action genre after a year, injured his shoulder while shooting for an action sequence in film's pre-climax scene.

"Now I'm back in action, leaving for Hubli for another action packed schedule of 'Rowdy Rathore'! Just got back from Germany post some therapy. Feeling much relief now, thank you to all my well wishers, who prayed for me," he posted on Twitter.

The film, which is the remake of Telugu film 'Vikramarkudu', features Akshay in a double-role opposite Sonakshi Sinha and is scheduled to hit theatres on June 15.
