3 houses burgled
Three burglary cases were reported in the City on Wednesday.
Naresh Kumar, a resident of Jayanagar, complained that valuables worth Rs 15 lakh and Rs 15,000 in cash was stolen from his house.
The miscreants might have gained entry into the house by cutting the grill of the ventilator, the police said.
In another incident Nasreen Taj, a resident of Edward Apartment on Queen’s Road, registered a complaint with the High Grounds police station that miscreants made away with Rs two lakh cash and valuables.
The incident happened when Nasreen had gone to drop her daughter to the college.
In the third incident, Girish reported to the police that valuables worth Rs 3.5 lakh were stolen from his NR Layout residence.
Property parade
The Bangalore East Division police claimed to have solved 130 cases and recovered Rs 2.01 crore worth stolen property.
At a property parade, on Wednesday, DCP (East) Chandrashekar lauded officers who arrested as many as 84 people in connection with the cases.
