Special screening of Bollywood anti-graft film for Hazare

Ralegan Siddhi (Maharashtra), Jan 24,2012, (IANS):

Social activist Anna Hazare will attend a special screening of a forthcoming Bollywood film based on anti-corruption at his hometown Tuesday along with the film's cast, an associate said.

"Anna will be present at the screening of 'Gali Gali Chor Hai' along with its cast and crew. The film will be screened Tuesday at 7 p.m. near the Yadav temple at Ralegan Siddhi," said Suresh Pathare, Hazare's associate.

The cast and crew of the film include Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Mugdha Godse, Satish Kaushik, Annu Kapoor, music director Anu Malik, producer Nitin Manmohan and director Rumy Jafry.

Hazare associates said that since the plot of the film revolves around corrupt practices, the core team of the film felt it would be right for Hazare to watch the film and give his comments.

Nitin Manmohan's team members had earlier contacted Pathare and scheduled an appointment with Hazare for the special screening.
