‘Arrest Bhat immediately’

Mangalore, January 25 2012, DHNS:

Yeddyurappa is man behind creating all chaos, alleges Poojary

Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary has demanded the police to arrest RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat immediately for the provocative speech he made in the Hindu Samjotsava recently.

Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Poojary said that Prabhakar Bhat has made derogatory statements against the minority community and has thus insulted Hindus, Muslims, Christians, police and the judicial system alike. For the offence Bhat has made, the police can arrest him under Section 153 A, 292 A and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and he could be jailed for three years, said Poojary.

Calling the series of communal incidents as a well-planned conspiracy staged by former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa’s supporters, he said that Yeddyurappa is the man behind creating all the chaos including the Pakistan flag hoisting incident in Sindhagi in Bijapur, recent outbreak of communal violence in Sullia, attacks on churches and the Samajotsava in Uppinangady.

“Yeddyurappa is playing the game by creating communal violence so as to prove the general public that D V Sadananda Gowda does not fit to be the Chief Minister. Yeddyurappa who is eyeing on the CM’s post is trying to defame Gowda and is conspiring to get into the CM’s post,” Poojary alleged.
He said that Yeddyurappa is trying to meet two objectives by creating chaos, one is to defame Gowda’s administration capacity and then to draw the vote bank politics for the next election.

Giving his piece of advice to Gowda, he asked the CM to take action against the culprits immediately and ensure that communal violence is not caused failing which he would have to lose his power.

Coming down heavily on District-in-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar for defending Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat’s provocative speech and for criticising the police who discharged their duties, Poojary said that the words of the Minister does not suit his position. “Palemar could be booked under IPC Section 353 for preventing the public servants from discharging their duties,” he said.

Poojary also challenged Prabhakar Bhat to call a press conference and deny the statements he has made in the Samajotsava if he thinks the media reports are false. Let Bhat also disclose the proof he has about Love Jihad and that Hindu girls are sold by Muslim men, he said.
