Mybuild 11 mega expo opens in city
A record 250 stalls operating at exhibition grounds
BAI president Cherian Varkey inaugurated Mybuild, construction related mega expo organised by Builders’ Association of India, Mysore centre, on Thursday at the Dasara exhibition grounds here.
Addressing the gathering, Varkey said, it’s the responsibility of the members of BAI to work for the development of the nation and create facilities for consumers. There is a need to train the next generation about better productivity and quality.
Tremendous works have been done by the Mysore chapter since 25 years with three mega events Myreality, Buildtech and Mybuild. And to its credit this year, it has set up about 250 stalls in the exhibition, he added.
Chairman of Karnataka Exhibition Authority B P Manjunath said, it’s an honour for the authority to host such a planned exhibition as till now it was only Dasara exhibition and summer exhibition organised at the grounds.
“I had vision of developing the exhibition grounds like any other well-developed one in the country, but I failed when I realised that the land is under litigation,” he said.
Chairman of BAI Mysore chapter T N Hemanth, honorary secretary M S Ramaprasad , CREDAI chairman M B Nagakumar, of Mybuild 11 chairman N Subramanya, honorary secretary R Raghunath, organising committee chairman Bharath Parva N S Muralidhara were present on the occasion.
