Q When I straighten my hair with a ceramic hair straightner, it stays in place only for a few minutes. Do I need to apply anything before I straighten my hair? Please advise.
A Using hair styling products such as mousse or hairspray may help to get longer lasting results with a ceramic hair straightener.

QI am a 23-year-old male and I am 5 feet, 9 inches tall and I weigh 64 kg. But my body is imbalanced. My arms are unequal in length (shapewise). Should I join a gym to give my body better shape? Please advise.
A You have the ideal weight and height. Everyone has some form of imbalance in their arms and upper body. It helps to know that it is more noticeable to yourself than to others !
This simple exercise called a cross crawl helps to correct variations in shoulder height and chest. Stand up straight and lift your right arm over your head, lift your left knee at the same time. Use opposite hand and opposite leg. Then lift left arm and right knee together. Repeat this 15 times.
Doing a few extra sets of the exercise on your weak side will activate the muscles of that side and even out the imbalance.
You must pay attention to your diet also. A healthy diet, high in protein is recommended. This will help repair and rebuild muscle tissue. You can get adequate protein by including foods like dals, pulses, milk products, eggs, fish, chicken and a variety of nuts in your diet.
