The design

Lawrence Pirera said that the institution took 5 to 6 years to develop this administrational software. The software cell comprised 4 staff and 4 other persons for testing and implementation. The facility has already been implemented in 40 affiliated institutions and has been a boon for the parents as well as students. “As per our knowledge, this is an unique software,” he said.

Good response

Giving details about the database, II year MCJ student Madhav opined that it is a very useful website. “We need not seek any help from the college staff or administration members. It’s really student friendly”.

The online student informational database was inaugurated at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College in Ujire on January 17 and is being used by 40 schools and colleges affiliated to SDM Educational Society. Next year, the facility will be extended to all the 48 schools and colleges run by the Society.
