Traffic restrictions
In view of the ongoing emergency repair work on the drain at Binny Mill Railway bridge on Mysore Deviation Road, the West Division traffic police have diverted traffic movement in the following areas:
* Vehicles, including BMTC buses, KSRTC buses and LMVs plying from Mysore Deviation Road towards Hunasemara Circle, Magadi Road, Vatal Nagaraj Road should take a right turn at Mysore Deviation Road Binny Mill, take the Goodshed Road, Shanthala Silk Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Platform Junction, RRR Junction, KB Junction, Hunasemara Junction to move further.
* Vehicles from Magadi Road, Hunasemara Circle plying towards Mysore Deviation Road and Binny Mill, City Market and Mysore should take a left turn at Magadi Road Hunasemara Circle, move on Mysore Deviation Road, KB Junction, RR Junction, Platform Junction, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Shanthala Circle, Briand Square, Mysore Road.
In Central Division
Following the ‘Chitra Santhe-2012’ on Sunday, vehicular movement is banned on both sides on the stretch between Windsor Manor Circle and Shivananda Circle by the Central Division traffic police. The ban will be in effect from 7 am to 7 pm. Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and other dignitaries are expected to visit the Santhe. More than 2,000 artists will participate.
The alternative routes are:
* Vehicles from Anand Rao Circle should use Race Course Road, move on Race View Junction, Threelight Junction, Basaveshwara Circle, High Grounds Circle, Windsor Manor Circle and move further.
* LMVs and two-wheelers from Anand Rao Circle should take a left turn at Shivananda Circle, move on to Nehru Circle
* Vehicles from BDA can move on Chowdiah Road, join LRD Circle and move further.
