Vijaykumar is no more

NEW DELHI, Jan 28, 2012, PTI:

Retired Indian Information Service officer D V Vijayakumar breathed his last here on Thursday at the age of 61, following a brief illness. He is survived by wife and son.

Vijayakumar served as an information officer at the Prime Minister’s Office for more than a decade. Vijaykumar also had fruitful stints with the All India Radio and the Press Information Bureau in different capacities. A native of Mysore in Karnataka, he had written sub-titles for many Kannada films in English.

Adhering to his last wish, his body has been donated to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), in the national capital.
