Health minister denies abusing Bihar doctors

A day after he made disparaging remarks against Bihar doctors, Health Minister Ashwini Choubey took a U-turn on Sunday and said he never used objectionable language against the medicos, as he had great respect for the medical fraternity.
“I can never use foul language against the doctors. It’s the electronic media which distorted my viewpoint,” an unapologetic Choubey said on Sunday.
The minister on Saturday had threatened to chop off the hands of doctors if they continued to adopt arm-twisting tactics and went ahead with their proposed strike from January 31.
