The Reddys, arrested on September 5, are presently in judicial custody and lodged in the Chanchalguda Central Prison along with suspended IAS officer Srilakshmi and former Department of Mines Director, Rajagopal.  Gali Janardhan Reddy recently celebrated his 46th birthday in Jail.  He distributed Pulla Reddy sweets to officials However, he met his wife, children and in-laws, and spent some time talking to them. “He is getting used to the life in jail. Most of the time he reads religious books and prays at the Shiva temple close to the barracks,” a jail official said.
