ITO passport office ready in a week
New Delhi, Feb 1, 2012, DHNS:
The Passport Seva Kendra at Herald House near ITO will start operating in a week, said a senior government official on Wednesday.
The new centre will have 40 counters and will occupy 20,000 square feet. Passports will be dispatched within seven working days from filing of applications, the official said.
With the opening of this centre, the one at Kaushambi will be shifted to its original place in Ghaziabad. Other passport centres in Delhi and NCR are at Shalimar Place and Gurgaon.
