Modi: UPA has lost moral right to continue

Ahmedabad, Feb 2, 2012, DHNS:

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday demanded resignation of the Manmohan Singh government in the wake of the Supreme Court verdict on 2G licensing, claiming it had lost the moral right to continue in power.

Addressing his sadhbhavna event at Mandvi in Kutch district, Modi lashed out at the UPA government alleging that the Congress was trying to shield Home minister P Chidambaram so as to avoid more names tumbling out.

“The government in Delhi fears that  more names will tumble out that’s why they are trying to shield Chidambaram,’’ Modi said.
