Public thrash youth for teasing girls

Irate passersby thrashed a youth for passing lewd remarks on girls in Bharathinagar area on Thursday evening.
Seena, 28, a labourer staying at Doddi area on Tannery Road, was making loud, abusive remarks towards a group of girls who were walking along the road near Coles Park.
He even stalked them for a while, police said. When a few residents questioned him, he asked them to shut up.
Angered by his rude behaviour, they beat him up and handed him over to the Banaswadi police who directed them to the Bharathinagar police.
Police have registered a case of eve-teasing and arrested Seena.
