Meeting scheduler
Doodles offers an online tool to schedule meetings. Just go to www.doodles.com, schedule a meeting and send invites to your contacts. You can suggest multiple date and time slots to meet and ask your contacts to choose a convenient option. This tool is so easy to use, you don’t have to even register.
Giving your email, while not mandatory, helps you manage the meetings better. If you are a regular user, you can create a free MyDoodle account, where you can track all your meetings. You can also connect your Google or Outlook address book and send invites through Doodle to save time. A premium advertisement-free version is also available.
Free OCR
Free-OCR.com is a free Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool, which helps you extract text from images. To use it, just go to the web site and upload the image in PDF, JPG, GIF, TIFF or BMP formats. Very promptly, the tool will render the text in the image in an editable format.
It can handle English, besides several European languages. You cannot, however, upload images larger than 2 MB, wider or higher than 5000 pixels. There is also a limit of 10 image uploads per hour. But you can use it easily without even registering.
