The UP government has asked all district administration officials to take precautionary measure after bird flu cases were reported from Jharkhand and Orissa.
The state government has asked Kanpur chief medical officer Dr Jay Singh and his counterparts in other districts to take preventive steps.
All the 10 community health centres and primary health centres in Kanpur are on high alert. The government has sought details of bird flu cases if any has been reported in the state.
