Students light up Tibetan cause

About 350 staff and students of the St Joseph’s evening college observed a candlelight vigil on Wednesday evening, demonstrating solidarity with the Tibetans who have been fighting for freedom from Chinese rule.
Led by Tibetan student Yongdoug Tenzin, the demonstrators demanded that the Chinese government should release all Tibetans detained and end the crackdown and intimidation of Tibetans, among other things.
